X-Relay vs TweetNotify
Quick answer: These two overlap more than any other pair on this site — both deliver to Discord and Telegram, both cover replies, reposts and quote tweets, and both take crypto. The differences are price per account, keyword capacity and crypto enrichment. TweetNotify starts at $19/month for 10 accounts with no free tier and no trial, and its entry plan allows only 2 keyword monitors. X-Relay starts at $15/month for 10 accounts, allows 20 search queries on every paid plan, adds contract-address detection with DexScreener data and inline translation, and has a free Discord tier plus a 3-day Telegram trial. Pricing checked August 2026.
Price per account, side by side
TweetNotify does publish its pricing, and the ladder is worth comparing directly because the two products are sized differently at the top end.
| Accounts | X-Relay | TweetNotify |
|---|---|---|
| 1–2 | Free on Discord (2 accounts) | — no free tier |
| 10 | Lite — $15/mo ($39 / 3 mo) | Lite — $19/mo |
| 30 | Solo — $30/mo ($77 / 3 mo) | Starter — $49/mo |
| 50 | Plus — $49/mo ($129 / 3 mo) | — (next tier is 85) |
| 75–85 | Pro (75) — $69/mo ($179 / 3 mo) | Pro (85) — $129/mo |
| 220 | — not offered | Business — $299/mo |
TweetNotify figures read from tweetnotify.com's pricing page, checked August 2026. Their plans also cap delivery channels — 5 on Lite, 12 on Starter, 30 on Pro, 80 on Business, with webhook slots on the upper two. Verify on their site before buying.
Two things stand out. X-Relay is cheaper at every rung both products offer, by roughly a third from thirty accounts upward. And above about 85 accounts, TweetNotify keeps going and we do not — our largest published plan is 75, so if you track two hundred handles they have a product and we do not.
Keyword monitoring is where the gap is widest
Both tools watch accounts. Both also watch search — keywords, phrases and cashtags across all of X rather than a fixed handle list — and this is where the plans diverge sharply.
TweetNotify meters keyword monitors by tier: 2 on the $19 plan, 5 on $49, 12 on $129, 30 on $299. X-Relay includes 20 search queries on every paid plan, including the $15 one, and each query can be up to 480 characters — long enough for a real boolean expression with excluded terms, not just a bare word.
If your strategy is "watch these ten people", the difference barely matters. If it is "watch these ten people and catch anyone mentioning this ticker, this chain, this contract or these five phrases", two keyword slots at $19 becomes the binding constraint fast, and you are pushed up their ladder for capacity you would have had at our entry price.

The rows marked "not advertised" mean exactly that: TweetNotify's site does not describe these features, so we are not claiming they are absent — only that we could not verify them. If one of them decides your purchase, ask them rather than trusting a competitor's table.
Speed claims, and why we will not rank them
TweetNotify advertises "every tweet, under 2 seconds", checks accounts "every few seconds" and claims a 99.9% delivery rate. What we publish is a different quantity: we re-check a tracked account as often as every 300 ms, and our fastest measured detection was 281 ms — the best of 51,655 detections over 72 hours on production to 29 August 2026.
Those numbers may look comparable and you should not read anything into the comparison. Ours is a cadence and a single best-observed detection, both about the part of the journey that ends with us having the post; theirs is a marketing figure we have not verified, and we do not know where they start or stop the clock. Two vendors quoting time are not necessarily measuring the same interval — this is the single most common way alert-tool comparisons mislead. If speed is your deciding factor, run both on one handle for a day and read your own timestamps.
Where TweetNotify fits better
- You track more than 85 accounts. Their $129 and $299 plans go to 85 and 220. We stop at 75.
- You want conventional billing. They accept standard payment methods alongside crypto; X-Relay is crypto only, with no card option at all.
- You need many separate destination channels. Their upper tiers allocate 30 and 80 channels plus webhook slots.
- You do not need crypto enrichment. If contracts, DexScreener data and translation are irrelevant to you, you are paying us for things you will not use.
Where X-Relay fits better
- Cheaper at every matched capacity — $15 vs $19, $30 vs $49, $69 vs $129.
- Twenty keyword queries at the entry price, up to 480 characters each, instead of two.
- Contract detection with live market data attached to the alert, including on replies and quotes.
- Inline translation of non-English posts.
- You can try it for nothing — a permanently free 2-account Discord tier and a 3-day Telegram trial, versus paying $19 to find out.
- X List import, so a curated list of fifty handles is one paste rather than fifty.
Switching over
- Open @x_relay_bot on Telegram, or add X-Relay to your Discord server.
- Re-add your handles, or paste an X List link to bring them all at once.
- Recreate your keyword monitors as search queries — you have twenty slots regardless of plan, so you can be more specific than you were.
- Start on the free Discord tier or the Telegram trial and run both tools in parallel for a couple of days before you cancel anything.
