Xanguard alternative: X-Relay vs Xanguard

Quick answer: Xanguard and X-Relay both watch crypto X/Twitter accounts in real time and both deliver to Telegram. The three differences that decide it: Xanguard has no native Discord delivery, it bills in SOL only, and its products are sold separately — Tweet Alerts start at $19/mo while Community Watch, the closest analog to X-Relay's community tracking, starts at $100/mo. X-Relay is one product at $15–$69/mo with every feature in every tier, delivered to Discord and Telegram, payable in several cryptocurrencies. Xanguard's advantage is reach: its plans go up to 1,000 accounts, where X-Relay's top published plan is 75.

The price contradiction, cleared up

You will see Xanguard quoted at "$19/mo" in one place and "$100/mo" in another, and both are correct — they are different products. Xanguard sells several separate lines, and the one you need depends on what you are watching. Here is the published lineup, checked on xanguard.tech on 18 October 2026 against their price list dated 5 October:

Xanguard also sells ECA (pump.fun launch alerts, from $50/mo), an Engagement Tracker for live likes and reposts on specific tweets (from $100/mo) and CA Search for its B2B clients. Every price above is for 30 days and is paid in SOL inside that product's Telegram bot; nothing renews automatically.

So "$19/mo" is real, and so is "$100/mo" — the first buys you 10 tracked handles, the second buys you Community monitoring, which is a different job. If you only want new posts from a list of handles, compare against Tweet Alerts. Follows, profile changes, keyword search and the community signal are each sold on top of it — that is where the bill grows.

Keyword search: included here, $50/mo there

Watching a keyword, a ticker or a phrase across all of X — rather than a fixed list of handles — is a separate purchase at Xanguard. Search Alerts costs $50/month for 20 queries, bills in SOL, and delivers to Telegram, a REST API and WebSocket but not Discord. It is now sold on its own, without a Tweet Alerts plan underneath it (checked 18 October 2026). Keyword filters on accounts you already track are free there, and one keyword list applied across all of them is a $10/month add-on.

The detail that matters more than the price is on the same page: Search Alerts is polling-based. You choose how often each query is re-run — every 1, 5, 10 or 30 minutes, 1 hour or 6 hours, defaulting to 30 minutes — and their own FAQ says plainly that this makes it not real time. On the default schedule, a match waits about fifteen minutes on average before anyone looks for it.

X-Relay includes keyword search on every paid plan, starting at $15/month: each search takes one of the plan's tracker slots and can be up to 480 characters, so you can write a real boolean expression rather than a bare word — and search runs continuously rather than on a schedule you pick. If keyword monitoring is part of what you need, the price gap is still wide: $15 buys ten slots that handles and searches share, against $50 for Xanguard's 20 queries on their own, or $69 together with their 10-account Starter. Twenty searches would take our $30 Solo plan — still below their $50.

The fairest comparison is price at equal capacity. X-Relay charges one price for one product; every tier includes every feature, so there is no add-on to bolt on later.

Read the bottom four rows honestly: above 75 handles, X-Relay has nothing to sell you and Xanguard does. That is a real reason to pick them.

How fast is each, really

Both vendors publish speed numbers, and the useful question is which leg of the journey each one covers. Xanguard advertises "sub-second detection — typically 250–500 ms", which describes how quickly they notice a post. That is detection, and it is one leg. The rest — queueing, formatting, enrichment and the delivery hop to Telegram or Discord — is not in that figure.

We publish on the same leg, plus the schedule underneath it. We re-check a tracked account as often as every 300 ms, which is a property of how the polling is built rather than a measurement, and our fastest measured detection was 281 ms — the best of 51,655 detections over 72 hours on production ending 29 August 2026. Note the difference in kind before you compare: theirs is a typical range, ours is a record, and we would rather label it than let it read as what every post does. We publish no delivery figure at all, for the reasons set out on how fast is X-Relay. Turbo is not a tier — it is a paid speed upgrade priced at $9/$19/$29/$39 a month depending on the plan, layered on top of whichever plan you already have.

We have not independently measured Xanguard and we are not going to claim we have. If speed is your deciding factor, run both against the same handle for a day and read your own timestamps — that is the only comparison worth anything, and it is the one neither of us can fake.

What "no native Discord" actually costs you

Xanguard delivers to Telegram, to a REST API, to HMAC-signed webhooks and — on B2B plans — over WebSocket. Discord is not on that list as a first-class destination. The workaround people try is pointing a Xanguard webhook at a Discord webhook URL, and it does not simply work: Discord expects its own JSON shape (content, embeds, username), so a generic payload is rejected. You end up hosting a small relay service that receives Xanguard's payload, verifies the HMAC signature, reshapes it into a Discord embed and forwards it. That is a server you now run, monitor and pay for, and a component that fails silently when it dies at 3am.

If your alpha group lives in Discord, this is the whole decision. X-Relay posts to a Discord channel through a webhook you create in that channel's settings — no relay, no hosting, and the same tracker can target Telegram at the same time. Chains, contracts and what lands in the alert

Both tools detect contract addresses in posts. Xanguard's published coverage is Solana and EVM. X-Relay adds TON, and attaches live DexScreener data — price, liquidity, market cap, 24h volume — to the same message, so you are not copying a base58 string into a chart tool while the candle runs. Detection also runs on replies and quote tweets, which matters more than it sounds: a contract is frequently dropped in a reply under an announcement rather than in the announcement itself. Billing: SOL only vs several coins

Xanguard bills in SOL. If you hold SOL that is frictionless. If you hold anything else, every renewal becomes a swap, a fee and a price you did not choose. X-Relay accepts several cryptocurrencies, and prices drop per month on the three-month term — Lite $39, Solo $77, Plus $129, Pro $179 for 90 days. Neither tool takes a card, so if you need a company card and an invoice, neither of us is your answer.

• Discord and Telegram, both native. One tracker, two destinations, no relay service in between.
• One product, one price. Keyword search, follow and profile-change alerts and community tracking are part of every plan rather than separate add-ons — $50/mo for search there, from $15/mo for follows, from $35/mo for profile changes, from $100/mo for communities — so the bill does not grow as your use does.
• Cheaper at every matched capacity up to 75 accounts — $15 vs $19 at ten handles, $30 vs $49 around thirty, $69 vs $99 at seventy-five.
• Auto-translation inline for Chinese, Korean, Russian and other non-English posts, which Xanguard does not advertise.
• Billing in several coins instead of SOL only.

Where Xanguard wins

• Developer tooling. A REST API and WebSocket streaming on B2B plans from $49/mo, plus HMAC-SHA256 signed webhooks on every paid Tweet Alerts plan. If you are feeding an execution bot rather than reading messages, that is a more complete surface than ours.
• Capacity. Their published plans continue past ours to 150, 200, 500 and 1,000 accounts ($179, $230, $349 and $700/mo). X-Relay's largest published plan is 75. Above that ceiling we have nothing to sell you and they do.
• Wallet-side coverage. Their PumpFun Bot watches wallets, from $100/mo for 3 per alert type. X-Relay watches X accounts and does not track wallets at all.
• Community monitoring as a product. Community Watch is a dedicated line with its own event types — joins, renames, description changes, follows and new-follower digests — plus a Posts Scanner add-on and a separate Convergence Tracker for accounts gathering in one community. If X Communities are your main signal, it is built out further than ours.

Which one should you pick

• Your group is on Discord → X-Relay. This is not close; Xanguard needs a relay you have to build and run.
• You are piping a raw feed into your own bot → Xanguard. Their API and WebSocket are the better fit and we will not pretend otherwise.
