The price contradiction, cleared up

You will see Xanguard quoted at "$19/mo" in one place and "$100/mo" in another, and both are correct — they are different products. So "$19/mo" is real, and so is "$100/mo" — the first buys you 10 tracked handles, the second buys you Community monitoring, which is a different job. If you only want handle tracking, compare against Tweet Alerts. If you want the community signal too, that is where the bill jumps.

Keyword search: included here, $100/mo there

Watching a keyword, a ticker or a phrase across all of X — rather than a fixed list of handles — is a separate purchase at Xanguard. Search Alerts costs $100/month for 20 queries, bills in SOL, delivers to Telegram, webhooks and their API but not Discord, and is an add-on that requires an active Tweet Alerts plan rather than something you can buy on its own (checked August 2026).

The detail that matters more than the price is on the same page: Search Alerts is polling-based, at configurable intervals from 10 minutes to 6 hours, defaulting to 30 minutes. A 30-minute poll means an average delay of about fifteen minutes on anything it finds, and the fastest setting still means five minutes on average. Their page also notes post text is truncated to 500 characters.

X-Relay includes 20 search queries on every paid plan, starting at $15/month, each up to 480 characters so you can write a real boolean expression rather than a bare word — and search runs continuously rather than on a 10-minute-to-6-hour schedule. If keyword monitoring is part of what you need, this is the largest single price gap between the two products: $15 with search included against $19 plus $100.

The fairest comparison is price at equal capacity. X-Relay charges one price for one product; every tier includes every feature, so there is no add-on to bolt on later.

Read the bottom two rows honestly: above 75 handles, X-Relay has nothing to sell you and Xanguard does. That is a real reason to pick them.

How fast is each, really

Both vendors publish speed numbers, and the useful question is which leg of the journey each one covers. Xanguard advertises "sub-second detection — typically 250–500 ms", which describes how quickly they notice a post. That is detection, and it is one leg. The rest — queueing, formatting, enrichment and the delivery hop to Telegram or Discord — is not in that figure.

We publish on the same leg, plus the schedule underneath it. We re-check a tracked account as often as every 300 ms, which is a property of how the polling is built rather than a measurement, and our fastest measured detection was 281 ms — the best of 51,655 detections over 72 hours on production ending 29 August 2026. Note the difference in kind before you compare: theirs is a typical range, ours is a record, and we would rather label it than let it read as what every post does. We publish no delivery figure at all, for the reasons set out on how fast is X-Relay. Turbo is not a tier — it is a paid speed upgrade priced at $9/$19/$29/$39 depending on plan length, layered on top of whichever plan you already have.

We have not independently measured Xanguard and we are not going to claim we have. If speed is your deciding factor, run both against the same handle for a day and read your own timestamps — that is the only comparison worth anything, and it is the one neither of us can fake.

What "no native Discord" actually costs you

Xanguard delivers to Telegram, to a REST API, to HMAC-signed webhooks and — on B2B plans — over WebSocket. Discord is not on that list as a first-class destination. The workaround people try is pointing a Xanguard webhook at a Discord webhook URL, and it does not simply work: Discord expects its own JSON shape (content, embeds, username), so a generic payload is rejected. You end up hosting a small relay service that receives Xanguard's payload, verifies the HMAC signature, reshapes it into a Discord embed and forwards it. That is a server you now run, monitor and pay for, and a component that fails silently when it dies at 3am.

X-Relay posts to a Discord channel through a webhook you create in that channel's settings — no relay, no hosting, and the same tracker can target Telegram at the same time. Chains, contracts and what lands in the alert

Both tools detect contract addresses in posts. Xanguard's published coverage is Solana and EVM. X-Relay adds TON, and attaches live DexScreener data — price, liquidity, market cap, 24h volume — to the same message, so you are not copying a base58 string into a chart tool while the candle runs. Detection also runs on replies and quote tweets, which matters more than it sounds: a contract is frequently dropped in a reply under an announcement rather than in the announcement itself. • Developer tooling. A 14-endpoint REST API, HMAC-SHA256 signed webhooks and WebSocket streaming on B2B plans. If you are feeding an execution bot rather than reading messages, that is a more complete surface than ours.
• Capacity. Their published plans reach 150 and 500 accounts ($179 and $349/mo). X-Relay's largest published plan is 75. Above that ceiling we have nothing to sell you and they do.
• Wallet-side coverage. Their PumpFun Bot watches wallets, from $100/mo for 3. X-Relay watches X accounts and does not track wallets at all.
• Community monitoring as a product. Community Watch is a dedicated line with its own event types — joins, creates, renames, description changes, follows — and a Posts Scanner add-on. If X Communities are your main signal, it is built out further than ours.
